Trained Syria rebels 'let down' by US army

A rebel group trained by the US to fight in Syria, has told the BBC they are being let down by the Americans.
They claim US military support failed to materialise in one battle, which left at least five dead, and 12 captured including their commander.
The Syrian uprising originally against President Assad four years ago has seen control of the country splintered between a number of different factions.
The Syrian army has retained some control in the West of the country, but so-called Islamic State dominate central areas, with the Kurds holding sway in parts of the north.
The American backed rebels were trying to make gains in Aleppo and Idlib provinces, when they were halted by another rebel group the Nusra Front.
